Job description :
- Perform piping stress analysis using CAESAR II.
- Collaborate with design engineers to review and optimize piping designs, considering factors such as temperature, pressure, vibration, and seismic loads.
- Conduct pipe flexibility calculations to ensure they can expand, contract, and move appropriately under different operating conditions.
- Identify and evaluate potential stress hotspots in piping systems and propose design solutions to mitigate risks.
- Generate detailed technical reports documenting stress analysis results and design recommendations.
- Collaborate with construction and maintenance teams to ensure that pipes are installed according to design specifications and safety standards.
- Participate in safety reviews and risk analysis to identify potential issues in the design or installation of piping systems.
- Stay up to date on regulations and industry standards related to piping system design and integrity.
- Prepare Project Design Basis for stress analysis.
- Develop and maintain Stress Critical Line Lists.
- Perform piping stress analysis using CAESAR II.
- Generate Stress Analysis Reports in project-specific deliverable formats.
- Mark-up isometrics with stress-related data such as routing changes, support locations and types, etc., for 3D model updates.
- Provide Piping Load Summaries as inputs for Civil/Structural engineering teams.
- Prepare datasheets, RFQs/MRs, Technical Bid Analysis (TBA), and Vendor Document Reviews (VDR) for bought out supports (e.g., spring hangers).
